We design, build, extend, and improve software that sits close to real operational needs: custom platform development, secure integrations, internal tooling, automation, cross-platform products, and deeper engineering work where performance, maintainability, and reliability matter just as much as features.
Our background spans more than 25 years of hands-on software and systems engineering across Linux, application development, platform architecture, and technical operations. That range is especially valuable for projects that do not fit neatly into a single category, such as software that touches infrastructure, learning platforms, enterprise integrations, or custom operational workflows.
Software features, extensions, and technical solutions tailored to specific platform requirements.
Secure, reliable integration layers between platforms, internal systems, and external services.
Scripts, command-line tools, and engineering workflows that reduce manual effort.
Deep Linux and software engineering experience applied to performance and architecture.
Specialized, hands-on software development across platforms, infrastructure-connected systems, and custom technical requirements.
Tailored software functionality beyond off-the-shelf capabilities, including platform extensions, backend services, purpose-built technical features, and complete products like Living Room Games.
Moodle plugins across a wide range of plugin types, including local plugins, activities, blocks, reports, authentication, enrollment, and command-line tooling.
Integration layers that connect platforms with enterprise systems, databases, internal tools, and external services in a secure and maintainable way.
Software that improves delivery, administration, and technical operations, including scripts, orchestration tools, and internal utilities that reduce repetitive manual work.
Solutions for harder technical challenges involving scale, maintainability, workflow design, and long-term operability.
Specialized engineering that benefits from deep Linux experience, including low-level systems work, performance-sensitive environments, and software that interacts closely with the operating system.
These are the problems that separate routine work from the hard stuff, and the ones we have the most experience with.
Our value is not just writing code. It is the combination of software engineering depth, platform understanding, and operational thinking that helps technical solutions hold up in production.
Our experience spans application development, cross-platform products, Moodle engineering, Linux systems work, integration design, and automation, moving between architecture, implementation, and practical problem solving without losing sight of maintainability.
“Good software development is not just about delivering features. It is about building technical solutions that can scale, be maintained long-term, and fit the real operational needs of the platform.”
Engineering work we have built and run ourselves:
Built the integration layer for our own Pucks.pro training platform: a Shopify purchase securely triggers account creation and enrollment on a dedicated Moodle site. Customers get instant access, and nobody copies data between systems by hand.
Developed and published tool_upmon, an open-source Moodle administration plugin that integrates with UptimeRobot to monitor site availability, cron health, and maintenance mode status. The tool demonstrates practical product engineering, secure plugin development, and a strong understanding of real-world platform operations.
We built livingroom.games, a party game that turns a TV into a game-show stage and every phone into the controller, as a web app and an Android app from one unified codebase, with iOS and Steam to follow. A fix or a new game ships to every platform at the same time.

Software tied to platforms, integrations, automation, and technical operations: custom features, Moodle plugins, integration layers, internal tools, and complete products like Living Room Games.
No. Moodle is one important area, but the work is broader: Linux systems engineering, application development, cross-platform products, integrations, and automation tooling.
It is written once. The web app and the Android app come from one unified codebase, and the iOS and Steam versions will too, so a fix or a new game reaches every platform at the same time.
The difference is the blend of software engineering, Linux systems knowledge, platform experience, and operational thinking. This is especially useful for projects that need more than isolated feature work and instead require solutions that will perform well, integrate cleanly, and remain maintainable over time.

Every piece of software needs something different. Sometimes it is a custom plugin or integration. Sometimes it is internal tooling, backend automation, or a deeper systems problem. The right approach depends on what the software needs to do, what it connects to, and how it will be maintained over time.
We start from the real platform or product need, then shape the technical solution around it — a custom feature, an integration layer, a better engineering workflow, or the systems-level problem behind the visible application.
Living Room Games, Pucks.pro, and the Moodle Uptime Monitor are all built in-house. Explore the products, or connect with Frederick on LinkedIn.
